Cross Roads Baptist Church is home to many families. You will find our people to be friendly, compassionate, and open to new visitors and guests. We are an independent Baptist Church that grounds our faith, functions, and fervor on the Word of God. Therefore, we make no apology for strong preaching and teaching as we minister to every age group. We are a Spirit-filled church that patterns it's practices after New Testament Christianity. Here are a few things to expect as you visit our local church:
Concerning Preaching and Teaching
Cross Roads Baptist Church believes the Word of God is the most important element of our lives. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, therefore we preach and teach with fervency and passion. We only use the King James Version of the Bible in all of our programs and classes. It is our desire to equip each believer with the principles and precepts of God's Word. You will find our preaching and teaching to be practical, powerful, and personal.
Concerning Music
Our music program consists of choirs (adult, youth, and children), instrumentals, and specials. We sing traditional songs and hymns. We believe music is vital in preparing our hearts to receive the Word of God; therefore it is our desire to sings songs of the faith that honor Christ and the doctrines of the Bible.
Concerning Dress
We believe the Lord looks on the heart of man more so than the outside. We welcome all people from all walks of life to our church. We do believe the most important place in the world is the House of God, and therefore we dress accordingly. A majority of our men wear slacks, dress shirts, and suits; our ladies wear dresses and skirts.
Concerning Youth
Our youth program consists of Masters Clubs on Wednesday Evenings, Sunday School classes for all ages, Children's Church on Sunday, youth choirs, and monthly activities. We believe our youth are vital to the growth of our church and therefore strive to develop their walk with the Lord from a very early age. Someone will help assist you with getting your children to the right places. Sunday School begins at 9:00am and Children's Church starts at 10:00 am.
Concerning Nursery
Nursery is provided for all parents with children 4 years and younger. Our bright and clean facilities provide a fun and safe environment for your children. All of our nusery workers are qualified to take care of your children so that you may have peace of mind as you worship the Lord. Our nursery is located in the main lobby of our church and is easily accessible to the sanctuary.
Concerning Visitation
Cross Roads does have a visitation team which regularly meets to visit our guests; however, we will not visit you if you so request. There is a time during our service when we ask you to fill out a visitors card so that we can have a record of your visit.
